Overview: Hope Academy is a skill development and game-based program promoting team skills and integrating children into the team aspect of basketball. Weekly sessions include skills, drills, modified gameplay, and game-specific scenario instruction. Primarily for beginner and intermediate players. Excellent lead-in to team and league play.
Team Defense: Proper help defense off-ball
Offensive Spacing: Positioning without the ball
Ball Movement & Cutting: Keeping ball moving and cutting to open lanes
Fastbreak: Filling lanes and capitalizing on fast breaks
Pick and Roll: Using and defending screens
Moving Without Ball: Getting open through movement
